Implementation of the Accessible BC Regulation at Cornerstone Christian Academy:

At Cornerstone Christian Academy, we recognize the importance of accessibility not only for persons with disabilities but also for the benefit of the entire school community. We want to do that by providing a learning and working environment that supports all students, staff, and the larger school community.

Accessibility Committee: Cornerstone Christian Academy established an accessibility committee in June, 2023.  The Accessibility committee meets twice a year to share updates, concerns, plans, and recommendations to address barriers in the learning and working environment to support students and staff in the school community.  CCA’s Accessibility Committee is registered with BC Accessibility HUB.

Accessibility Plan:  The CCA Accessibility Committee is in the process of completing a 3-5 year Accessibility Plan, which formulates goals and recommendations to address survey feedback from our school community.  The plan will be made publicly available in September, 2024.

Mechanism for Reporting Accessibility Accomplishments and Barriers:  Members of our community are welcome to complete and submit feedback (positive or negative), questions, and concerns pertaining to any accessibility barriers at Cornerstone Christian Academy.  You may complete an online form via the link below or come by the office to pick up form. Completed form can be submitted to the School Office or by email at accessible@cornerstonechristianacademy.ca
